Very soon...

So, very soon we will be up and running. The painting, lights, base boards, floors and kitchen are all done. We now have internet, phone and cable. But no phone or computer yet. No furniture either. But I'm fine with that. Hopefully in the next few days we'll be shopping for a phone and computer then soon after that I will be able to post before and after pictures!! I'm super excited that you all will be able to see my new house. And I'll definitely have a house warming!!

As far as life is concerned..... we are doing great. A little tired from working on the house but it is all coming along very well. We have ordered our furniture from the mainland and hopefully we'll have it in a few weeks. CRAZY right? As for now I'm just having a hard time keeping Dezi busy and happy. He's in a new place that during the day is fine but at night is a different story. I have run out of activities for him. Not having electronics is difficult sometimes. Still in our old ward till the end of March which now that I think about it, I'm done. We have stake conference and then general conference so I think I had my last day:( I'm always nervous to move in to a new ward but I know I'll be okay.

Thank you to all the wonderful friends I have made in the Mililani 1st ward. You are all awesome. And will be my friends forever...Ha ha ha! And don't think you got rid of me. I'm still coming back to things. I love you all!! And I'm going to miss you so so so much!

So since we have formally moved out to Ewa Beach I have had no access to any electronic devices what so ever. I didn't realize it would be so hard. But with my calling and life and blogging it is now getting old that I have to make runs into Mililani (which I actually don't mind that so much) to ask my bro-in-law if I can use his computer. It wasn't such a bad thing in the beginning but now it's really irritating me!! How else do you entertain a two year old. I'm running out of ideas anyone have any? I want to just go upstairs and use a computer but I can't. Uuuuuugggggghhhhhh!!!!! Hopefully this week!! keep your fingers crossed!

I will get my own computer and be able to catch up on what's going with my friends and family and let them know what's going on with me.

I will have furniture to fill in my house and not hear the echoes of a whining child.

my t.v. will be set up and I can watch what I want whether it be movies or a favorite show.

For Dezi's birthday we did go to Farrell's and celebrate on the day of his birthday but also did
a little celebration with just family at the Deliz home on Halloween. It was so much fun but too
much work. Gil and I said we won't be doing that again.

Okay, one of the games to go along with the car theme of his party was to roll tires as fast as
you can to a cone and turn around and come back. It was a team effort. Well I should have
known this was going to happen to someone......my niece Keely is rolling super fast (She's 4 by the way)
she makes it to the cone, is coming back and boom....she trips rolls over the tire looking like superwoman with arms and legs out, lands on the floor and the tire rolls over her. It was classic and funny. Her mother and I were laughing so hard. She didn't care though. (Good thing)

Okay Thanksgiving was at the Naluai's this year and it was amazing!!

We buried Gil.

Took our family Christmas pictures. They came out okay. But what can you expect with a 2 year old.

Walked around the Kapolei lights (one cul-de-sac, 5 houses don't know if its quite worth it but they went all out.....like ALL OUT!!)

Yes this is a Heineken Christmas tree but they decorated it and had it light up to music that was playing. All 5 houses really decorated their whole yard including houses with everything imaginable. One yard had 6 different trees decorated differently with a ceramic little village thing with I think close to a 100 of them, a life size gingerbread house, arches, the words Merry Christmas in huge blocks, with snowmen and other things around, complete with a bench to take pictures with your family, Ferris wheels, just all kinds. I can't even think of them all.

And then just hung around. Dezi is starting to get into Gil's car obsession (Oh NO!!) If Gil goes outside, which is where he has been for a while since we bought a "new" used car for Gil to drive in when I take my car and he has to fix it up safe so Dezi can ride, he has to go outside and watch. It's cute though now cause since Dezi got a little race car for his birthday, he "works" on that while Gil works on the real thing.

It's circus time...

A long time ago the circus came to town. I don't how long for and even forgot when. The about time was probably like........3 maybe 4 months ago? We had a totally awesome time and wouldn't have even known if Gil's friend didn't tell us.

Gil had talked to his friend earlier in the day and asked what they were doing? He said nothing much but that they were going to the circus that night. Circus? What circus? So we looked it up on line and lo and behold it was their last weekend here. We last minute decided to go and take Dezi and it was awesome. There are too many pictures to even decide which ones to post so I will tell you the gist of what happened and maybe later post a video.

They had....

of course the man on the flying trapeze, clowns, a couple that did a REAL shooting arrow trick/s (like the real shooting trigger arrow thingy), girls and a guy that spun on ropes, a balancing man that also spun metal 3-D shapes on his chin, a contortionist (spelling?) , a Chinese man that spun those super expensive vases on his head, a guy riding a motorcycle on a rope and the girl doing tricks from a small trapeze hanging from the motorcycle and other things that I just can't remember. It was all so good and Dezi was amazed...

As were we.

This pic is during half time but they still had everything out and was setting up for the next acts but this is how he looked the whole night. Just staring.

These are the girls and the guy is in the blue of course that twirled on these fabric things. It was super beautiful. And one girl from this circus is from Hawaii. She graduated from Punahou. Woop, woop! I love this circus and would totally go see it again. They were supposed to have animals but ours was the last showing that night and I guess by then the animals weren't cooperating. Or so they said.

UH....

This is what happens when you have two, 2 year old toddlers and 1 adult.

Bishop Museum...

A while back we took Dezi to the Bishop Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit. He didn't like it one bit. They had dinosaurs set up outside on the lawn, he didn't like those. He didn't like the dinosaurs inside, bones or whole. But he did like everything else we saw. The Hawaiian, the volcano and sea animal fossil shells.

It was a fun day for me and Gil though. We learned new things and saw some interesting things. I haven't been there since a field trip I took for class in intermediate. Can you believe that! I couldn't remember anything about the Museum except for the whale that hangs in the Hawaiian section. HA!

FREAKED OUT....when he saw this thing.

and MAJORLY FREAKED OUT.....when this popped out from behind the bushes roaring!

He kind of had fun with this activity...you brush the rice away to uncover the fossil. But there was a dino in the corner so he making sure that it wasn't making noise or moving.

I think that's what it was. After the dino exhibit we walked around to see everything else which Dezi loved. There's to many photos but he did have a great time.
