100 things #33...
33. My most favorite job that I have had was working at Hahaione Elementary for the A+ program. I was an AE for a boy who had a Reactive Attachment Disorder. He was very physically abusive and sneaky to other kids of course but mostly with me. Go figure? But it was so rewarding to see him make a right choice, and help other kids and do really well in school.

it is so difficult but so rewarding when you see them make a small stride. you have to have a lot of patience, good practice for being a mom.
i remember that kid! he gave you lots of stress!!! but only someone like you could handle....i couldnt!
Never heard of RAD before. I googled it. So SAD. . .kid must have been traumatized or something. You have such a great heart!
That's where I went to elementary school! =).
