Oooo la la...

Tell me what could be more sexier than this...

Ta Da!

My husband doing dishes while holding our son!

Can you tell he wants something?

Ha ha!

Bye, bye my little baby...

Dezi has finally said goodbye to his best friend in the whole world....his pacifier. Only because we actually lost it but I found that it was a good opportunity to let it go. We've given him treats everytime he has been wanting it. I think I let him suck it for so long cause he's my baby. I won't have one for a little while longer and wanted him to kinda still be my baby and with the pacifier it just reminded me that he was a baby still. But he is getting to be my big boy now and I need to enjoy him at this more fun stage. SO goodbye pacifier and hello big boy!

Leaving his little mark in the world...

At least for a little while. I love footprints in the sand.

My Dezi Kain...

Is so smart now. He now knows (for a little while) how to get in and out of his crib due to the little exit on the side. He finally figured out that if he pulls on the zipper the whole door will open and he will play and have fun in his "Payos" (playhouse). That's what I called it one day.

Taylin's Birthday...

Was so long ago, but I wanted to show my love. Taylin (my niece) just turned 8 this past July.
She has been such a singing, funny, acting and loving blessing to our families life. She has so
much energy and lets it all out in the musical/theater direction. She is constantly making up moves to songs and making up songs. Fittingly she had an iCarly party. She kind of reminds me
of iCarly. She and all the kids had a blast. Here's a little recap:

Papa read to the boys and they were so in to it.

We had a fashion game. The kids (girls) broke up into teams and made an outfit out of foil. The aunties (Me, U'i, and Chalei) were the models and boy were we good. My outfit lost. Chalei's won I think. Because she had a phone, bag, earrings, bracelet and etc...

This was a fun game. They had to close their eyes and pick two m&m's and someone had to tell them if it was a match or not, if it was not a match they had to put them in their mouth until they got a match. Then hand it to the next player. The team that finished first won.

Happy belated birthday Taylin! Hope you enjoyed your celebration and baptism. We are all so proud of you and hope you will continue to be the sweet, fun loving girl you are. You are beautiful inside and out and are so glad you are a part of our family. You are my best Taylin!

Days gone by...

Please excuse the extra long post due to empty space. I don't know why it does that. It put
huge spaces between the pictures that I posted and I tried to fix it as much as possible but
I'm done fiddeling with it so it is what it is.

Anyway, these past few, four months or so I've been trying to keep Dezi busy with all kinds of activities and craft projects. So until I post on each one individually this is just a little re-cap
or run down of some of the things we have done.

Our latest adventure was the zoo. The last I took Dezi he was about 6 months old.
This time he knew what animals were kept saying their names and oohh-ing and ah-ing
at everything. This day was the funnest for me. Just to see his expressions.....it was soooo
worth it.

We've played dress up. Now that he can reach my jewelry he puts them on.

He also loves to put on my lip gloss. He sees me get ready every morning so he wants
to do the same. The lip gloss is the only thing I let him put on.

We do different projects each morning like painting, coloring (markers or crayons), glueing
or do things like playdough. He loves this time.

He also loves to clonck around in mommies shoes. Not just any shoes. My high heel shoes.

He invented a new game. He climbs to the top of the couch and slides down the back rest.
He's almost at the bottom in this pic.

We go to the park a few times a week to get his energy out.

Had some fun at the beach house that Lindren and Mel rented.

Went to Kahala Mall to see the fossil exibit. He didn't really like it as you can probably tell.
That fossil is a hippo skull. When the man opened the mouth my niece Krysta could've fit
in there.

Saw some turtles....a whole family with cousins, aunts and uncles at Ali'i beach.

Had some picnics. Inside cause it was raining that day.

Cruised with papa at his office in BYUH. We went to the PCC that day.

Entered a donut eating contest. He lost.

And cruised at the parks to celebrate cousins birthdays!

We went fishing. He is actually really good at this game. He is very well hand-eye coordination .....coordinated

We cruised at home in our p.j.'s when mommy was too tired to do anything.

Enjoyed some sweets

And was totally terrified at the bug exhibit at Pearl Ridge.

(this is probably a repeat but I don't want to go back and look. I'm too tired)

Finally...

Gosh, okay so I know I haven't posted in quite a while which is very strange for me. But unfortunately our computer has been acting up. Apparently it has a "real" mind of it's own and would turn off whenever it felt like it. Like when I'm posting. SO irritating. But it seems okay for now. So i'm going to attempt to do regular posts and see how they go. So much has happened so I will probably just smush them all together. That way you know what has been going on and I can finally get caught up on my journaling.
So for my first "official" post in over a month it's going to be a question. The more interesting blogs with pictures will follow after but I need some help.
This weekend I had caught like a sore throat. It started on Thursday but wasn't even that bad. Then Friday night comes and Oh my holy heck it felt like my throat was going to suffocate me. It was so painful to swallow even my spit. I ended up crying and not getting any sleep because of the pain. During the day it is still very painful but I can somewhat handle it because I'm drinking constantly, drinking water with lemon and honey, taking IBuprofen, gargling with salt water and spraying chloroseptic on my throat. That's what the home remedy book tells me but if anyone has any tips to help me further please!!! I need some kind of relief. Especially at night. I'm going to my doctors office tomorrow (Hopefull he will take me) and hopefully he will give me some kind of antibiotics.
Please let me know of any other tips. I am just so weak and don't know how much more pain I can take.
