I have been way behind on my posts however this is my attempt to catch up on all the festive activities that have happened. I didn't realize that when you post pictures they just stack up on top of each other so this post will be backwards since...let's just face it, i'm lazy and don't want to switch them around.
First up.....New Year's Eve
I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve and Day for that matter. This year was the first year in a while that I actually got join in on the fun. Gil and I split this holiday with our families every year. Dinner and hanging out with my family, then the fireworks with his family since they live in a cul-de-sac and pretty much go all out every year. I know it's not fair for my family cause I'm never there when they "Ching" in the new year but next year hopefully we'll switch. Anyway, it was exciting cause we had pretty good fireworks. The pics below aren't our fireworks but they were pretty much the same. I know it's not good (i'm not going to say the "i" word cause I just can't) but it was so exciting and fun.
We had these...
...and the one on the left. It was my favorite. It looked like glitter falling from the sky!
Me and Gil actually enjoying the New Year TOGETHER!

Next is Christmas...
This year we went as a family to see the Honolulu City Lights. It was the same thing as any year and personally I didn't like the wreaths this year. But we decided to go anyway and show Dezi all the lights and trees and he really enjoyed it. All he wanted to do was walk around and look AND TOUCH everything.
Christmas this year was at my sister U'i's house in Kaneohe. She has a new house and it's acutally big enough to fit all my family with room to spare. We all had a blast opening our presents and the kiddies did too! We do secret santa every year and have a limit but this year was the first year we did it with the kids since there are 15 of them. Each child picked a name and that's who they bought for. We all decided (the parents...since we were the ones buying the presents) that what ever you buy just make sure you can fit it in two boxes so there are no complaints about "She has more presents than me! HUMPH!!!" And it worked! Yea!
Gil wasn't able to join us cause he was sick but I gave him his presents and he loved them.
Good job U'i. You have the Filipino taste!
Dezi absolutely loves this train he got from Aunty Chalei. Or should I say Krysta, Cody, Keely or Kai.

Last but not least...Dezi's first hair cut!
Sniff sniff!
For those of you who see Dezi often you know how his hair was. Wild, crazy, everywhere, always in his eyes and frizzy. Well after much talk from family we finally cut his hair. It wasn't that I didn't want to but I was lazy to make an appointment and somehow I think I knew I would be sad. I was right. As soon as the lady finished I just looked at him and thought "Where's my baby, I want him back!....NOW!!!" But in the end I'm glad we did it and he is much happier I think. He's not rubbing his hair out of his eyes and people can now recognize that he is a HE!
She even saved hair in a baggie for us. Pigtails and Crew Cuts in the Moanalua Shopping Center. They are of course for kids and I think cheaper than other kid places. It was only $19 compared to a trim at Kiddy Cuts for $30.
