Camping explanations...

Okay so you know (if you read my camping post) that I said I would explain a few things just so everyone is clear...

1. The Kai family is my sister's family. Her husbands last name is obviously Kai. The G. Kai
Family is my sister's in-laws. Gordon Kai, her father-in-law, and Umi Kai, her brother-in-
law.

2. The hike/house. Okay so Umi and his wife took a walk around bellows and found a dirt
road next to where we were camping which led to the frame of a really small house complete
with a black plastic thing hanging from the roof. He suggested that we take the kids on a
hike/walk (since it is on a road) to show them the house and that maybe we could tell scary
stories. So we decided to take them at night, I came up with the story, which Umi told them
before the hike. We told them that is was just a story that I had heard at Young Women
camps. And we just so happened to stumble across it and ....... uh oh the house is real?

3. Mr. Fernandez. So the story goes that Mr. Fernandez was the caretaker of Bellows. He lived
alone and was kind of a scaredy cat. Some kids that were camping stumbled across his house
and thought they would play a prank on him by throwing rocks and other things at his house.
he ran scared and disappeared into the night never to be heard of again. And the kids.....well
they were never seen either.
